The Titan XD has gained a new front bumper, LED headlights with a different pattern, a massive chrome grille, and redesigned alloy wheels.
Compared to the "light" Titan trucks, which were updated last month, the XD modification differs by a frame extended by 381 millimeters and a cargo bed 1981 millimeters long. Externally, the heavy pickup is easily recognized by its massive mirrors, lifted suspension, and chrome V8 Endurance badging on the front fenders.

Starting from 2020, the Titan XD will be available in a single version with a Crew Cab double cab, a 1981-millimeter cargo bed, a nine-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive. There will be no single-row or extended cab modifications for the heavy Titan. Five interior trim levels remain: the base one, as before, is called S, and the top trim is named Platinum Reserve.
Gooseneck-type coupling systems with support on the body are included in the base configuration of the Titan XD. Nissan does not yet report the maximum characteristics of towed trailers, limiting itself to the estimate "sufficient towing power." The manufacturer emphasized that the XD has higher payload and towing capabilities than the regular Titan.
Probably, the reluctance to publish towing data is due to the exclusion of the torquey diesel — against the backdrop of the "arms race" between Ford and Chevrolet, the only 5.6-liter gasoline V8 Nissan, boosted to 406 horsepower and 559 Nm of torque, looks modest.

By analogy with the regular Titan, the XD has a new multimedia system with an eight-inch screen and Wi-Fi module, the number of airbags has increased from six to eight, and the list of driver assistants has expanded with a hill-start assist system, electronic rear differential control, and hill descent control function. In addition, all Titans are equipped with the Nissan Safety Shield 360 complex, which includes a lane-keeping assist, adaptive low beam, blind-spot monitoring system, and other active safety measures.
The updated Nissan Titan XD will go on sale in the USA in early 2020. Prices will be announced later. The price list for the regular "light" Titan pickup after the restyling starts at $30,690.
