The multimedia system of the previous crossover only supported the Apple CarPlay interface, while the complex of the updated car has also become compatible with Android Auto and Amazon Alexa.

On the European market, the Toyota C-HR engine lineup has been supplemented with a new hybrid powertrain based on a two-liter gasoline engine. The combined system produces 187 horsepower. The company noted that such a crossover features improved handling, as it received new settings for the electric power steering and a modernized suspension. In addition, the CH-R is available in Europe with the previous hybrid scheme based on a 1.8-liter engine with 124 horsepower.
