The production version of the Aston Martin DBX, apparently, will largely repeat the concept that was presented in the spring of 2015 in Geneva. However, the production model, unlike the shown prototype with two doors, will already have four doors.
The first tests of the crossovers took place on the roads of Wales last year. After that, engineers continued testing in various regions of the world, including areas beyond the Arctic Circle and the "North Loop" track at the Nürburgring.
It is expected that the initial version of the SUV will be equipped with a four-liter V8 engine with twin turbocharging from Mercedes-AMG, whose power will be about 600 horsepower. For a more expensive modification, a 5.2-liter V12 unit with two turbines is provided, developing approximately 750 horsepower.
The launch of crossover production is scheduled for the first three months of next year.
