The hatchback, sedan and compact van were equipped with a power unit consisting of a 1.33-liter gasoline turbo engine with 160 hp and a 102-horsepower electric motor. In total, the system can deliver 218 hp and 450 Nm of torque.

At the same time, cars with the "250e" designation became the first "Mercedes" where the electric motor itself acts as a starter for the internal combustion engine, rather than the previous 12-volt device.

The electric unit is powered by a 15.6 kWh battery pack installed behind the last row of seats. The batteries allow the sedan and hatchback to travel exclusively on electric power for 60-69 km, and the declared "green" range of the B-Class minivan varies from 56 to 67 kilometers.

The Wallbox wall-mounted device at 7.4 kW allows you to replenish the battery charge from 10% to 100% in 1 hour and 45 minutes, while a special fast system will charge the batteries from 10% to 80% in just 25 minutes.

The Mercedes-Benz A250e hatchback can accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds, while the sedan accelerates 0.1 seconds slower. The maximum speed is 240 km/h, and in electric mode - 140 km per hour.

The new models also received a specially modified MBUX system, which can additionally provide information about the operation of the hybrid system and show the nearest places with charging stations.

The cars are already available for order in Germany. The hatchback will cost at least 36.9 thousand euros, the sedan - 37.3 thousand euros, and for the minivan you will have to pay 37.6 thousand euros.
