Prices for the new model will be announced closer to the European start of sales, scheduled for winter. However, it is already safe to say that the 50 quattro version will be significantly cheaper than the current 55 quattro variant, which costs 83,350 euros.

According to preliminary data, prices for the Audi e-tron 50 quattro will start at 67.3 thousand euros. This is due to the fact that the crossover will receive a smaller capacity battery: 71 kilowatt-hours versus 95 kilowatt-hours for the 55 quattro. The power plant (two electric motors, one on each axle) has been detuned from 360 to 313 horsepower and from 561 to 540 Nm of torque. Accordingly, the top speed has also decreased – by 10 kilometers per hour, to 190 kilometers per hour. On a single charge, the new model can travel 299 kilometers on the WLTP cycle, which is 112 kilometers less than the 55 quattro.
From the 55 quattro version, the base crossover inherited the energy recuperation system and the ability to recharge the batteries to 80 percent in 30 minutes. At the same time, it was decided to abandon the overboost function, which provides an eight-second power boost.
