Audi has officially unveiled the restyled version of its sporty SUV SQ7. Sales of the model on the European market are scheduled for the very near future. On the German market, the price of the car starts from 94,900 euros.
The exterior of the SQ7 has been redesigned in accordance with the corporate style of the latest A6 and A7 models. The appearance of the crossover features a new radiator grille, as well as modernized bumpers with noticeably larger air intakes. New headlights have also appeared at the front. The rear of the car has not been left unchanged either: the taillights have acquired a different shape, and their filling is now fully LED.

The car's equipment includes 20-inch alloy wheels and a reinforced braking system with 400-millimeter discs on the front axle and 370-millimeter discs on the rear. Inside the crossover, a new front panel in the style of the current A7 is installed: the central console is equipped with two large touchscreens. The upper touchscreen is responsible for the operation of the multimedia system, while the lower one is designed for climate control.
The technical filling of the updated SQ7 is built on the principle of a mild hybrid. Under the hood is a 4.0-liter V8 turbodiesel developing 435 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. An electric motor-generator is integrated into the design of the automatic transmission, powered by a separate 48-volt network.

The electric unit is activated during acceleration, which allows removing part of the load from the main engine. In addition, the electric motor ensures rotation of the wheels when coasting, when the diesel unit is turned off, which contributes to fuel economy. The crossover accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, and its maximum speed is limited to 250 kilometers per hour.
