The crossover can be distinguished from its predecessor by a new radiator grille with chrome elements, headlights with LED daytime running lights, a hood of a modified shape, and a slightly modernized bumper. In addition, new design alloy wheels, other protective plates for the front and rear of the body, and a modified plastic body kit have appeared.

Inside, a new steering wheel and an improved infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support were installed. Standard equipment includes front airbags, ABS, and an electronic brake-force distribution system.

The engine lineup remains unchanged. In India, the Renault Duster is available with a 1.5-liter petrol engine producing 106 hp, as well as diesel engines of the same displacement, delivering 85 or 110 horsepower. Transmissions are a five- or six-speed manual, a robotized manual, or a CVT.
