The electric crossover Ford Mustang Mach-E, which carries the internal index CX430, will be built on the modular C2 platform, the same one used in the new Focus. The car's exterior will be styled in the spirit of the iconic Mustang.
Initially, the name Mach 1 was chosen for the model, but this option was abandoned due to dissatisfaction among brand fans.
The public debut of the Mustang Mach-E will likely take place this year, but the car will reach dealers no earlier than the first half of 2020.
