The new car will be positioned one step below the Kona. The public debut of the Hyundai Venue is scheduled for April at the New York Auto Show.

This most compact crossover in the brand's lineup should appeal to a younger audience. According to preliminary data, the model's exterior will be made more restrained than the Kona's, and the body will feature dynamic contours.

Official technical specifications are still kept under wraps, but according to unofficial data, a 1.6-liter gasoline engine paired with a CVT will appear under the hood. The range will also include turbocharged Kappa series engines of 1.0 and 1.4 liters, which will work with a seven-speed dual-clutch robotic gearbox.

The equipment will include an automatic emergency braking system, blind spot monitoring, and a hill-start assist. Additionally, the Venue will get a multimedia system with an eight-inch touchscreen display.
