The Passat Variant R-Line Edition will be available with two-liter turbo engines developing 272 and 240 hp, respectively. All special versions are equipped with the 4Motion all-wheel drive system and adaptive dampers.
Externally, the R-Line Edition differs from the regular Passat by black mirror caps, a spoiler, a black rear diffuser, and darkened optics.
The equipment list includes a fully digital instrument cluster, a media center with a 9.2-inch screen, a surround-view system, and adaptive cruise control that operates at speeds up to 210 km/h.
The Volkswagen Passat Variant R-Line Edition will be produced in a limited run of 2000 units.
