The first spy photos of the camouflaged Juke were published by Carscoops. Judging by the images, the new Juke will retain the previous body proportions, narrow headlights of a characteristic shape, as well as "hidden" rear door handles. At the same time, earlier Nissan's chief designer Alfonso Albaisa noted that the next Juke will not resemble its predecessor, but will remain true to its charisma.

The new Nissan Juke will be built on the modular CMF-B platform of the Renault-Nissan alliance. According to preliminary information, the engine lineup will include a 1.5-liter diesel, as well as a three-cylinder gasoline engine with a displacement of one liter. In addition, a 1.6-liter turbocharged unit with 190 hp will be available.
