The new electric Polestar 2 will feature a four-door fastback body, and one of the key exterior details, according to the first teaser, will be elongated rear lights.
The electric car will also be the first model to feature a new Google Android HMI multimedia system with a built-in Google Assistant voice assistant, whose functionality will resemble Amazon's "Alexa."
Under the hood, the Polestar 2 will be powered by an electric motor with an output of 294 kW, which corresponds to 400 horsepower. The new model's range will be about 480 kilometers on a single charge.
The price of the electric vehicle will be comparable to the Tesla Model 3, which starts at around $44,000 in the US. Also, similar to Volvo models, the Polestar 2 can be subscribed to with a monthly usage fee.
