Updated versions of the Hyundai Ioniq can be recognized by a number of external changes: redesigned bumpers, a new radiator grille and different headlights. Also, three fresh color options were added to the palette: Fluidic Metal, Electric Shadow and Liquid Sand.

In the interior, the climate control unit has changed, and it is now possible to order a 10-inch touchscreen for the multimedia system, which supports voice control.

The restyled Ioniq received the SmartSense suite of electronic assistants, including automatic braking, a lane keeping system and driver condition monitoring.

The model was also equipped with a function that allows acceleration and deceleration to be controlled using only the accelerator pedal. A similar solution called e-pedal is already used on the second-generation Nissan Leaf electric vehicle.

As for the technical part, it remained unchanged during the update.
