BMW intends to develop a hybrid supercar that will sit one step above the i8 model in the brand's lineup.
According to British media reports, the production version of such a supercar is likely to be unveiled in 2023, and the M Performance sports division will be involved in the project.
The new model will be equipped with a hybrid powertrain, including a six-cylinder gasoline engine and an electric motor. The total output of such a super hybrid will reach approximately 700 horsepower. The model will be based on a carbon fiber construction.
