Volkswagen has announced the launch of serial production of the European version of the updated Passat as early as next month.
The manufacturer is not yet sharing details, only mentioning that the car will be equipped with advanced driver assistance systems and updated lighting solutions. In addition, an updated multimedia center with expanded functionality will appear.
In the European market, the Passat will continue to be offered with both traditional engines and a hybrid powertrain version.
Assembly of the updated Volkswagen Passat will be organized at the plant in the German city of Emden.
