The show car will become part of the brand's program to make its model lineup more environmentally friendly and gradually transition to hybrid and electric powertrains. The concept will be based on a new architecture, which, according to brand representatives, will require a rethink of conventional approaches to exterior design. This involves altered body proportions, increased interior space, an expanded set of driver assistance systems, and other solutions.
The crossover's appearance will likely draw on the design cues of the Q Inspiration and Prototype 10 concepts. Both models have already showcased the updated corporate styling, which reflects "Japanese roots."
