The electric version of the Korean car is planned to be equipped with a 39 kWh battery. The powertrain will be borrowed from the Kia E-Niro, which will increase the driving range on a single charge to 225 km. The premiere of the updated model is expected at the Los Angeles Auto Show, which will take place at the end of November.

Before this, the car has repeatedly been caught by cameras during road tests. It is assumed that a number of design solutions will be taken from the Trailster concept, which debuted in 2015 at the Chicago show. It is already obvious that the second-generation Kia Soul will retain its recognizable angular body silhouette.
