The new model will hit the market in 2010. It is based on a refined platform of the current Audi A8, and the body promises to be expressive and dynamic, in the spirit of the Ingolstadt school. The range of powertrains at launch will be modest: only a 4.2-liter petrol V8 FSI and a modern 6.0-liter V12 TDI turbodiesel. Later, they will be joined by turbocharged petrol engines equipped with the proprietary Audi valvelift system for variable valve timing.
