The public premiere of the new model is scheduled for October 25 in Amsterdam, and in Europe, the purchase of the model will become possible already in early 2019.

As can be seen from the video, the Volkswagen T-Cross will get a virtual instrument panel, a multimedia system with a large screen, navigation equipment, a wireless charging function for phones, and audio from Beats.

The Volkswagen T-Cross is based on the MQB A0 architecture, the same one used in the creation of the sixth-generation Polo hatchback. The trunk volume reaches 455 liters — the company claims this is the best result in its class. If you fold the rear seats completely, the capacity increases to 1281 liters.

It is expected that the engine lineup will include three-cylinder turbocharged engines with a displacement of one liter, developing 95 and 110 horsepower. They will be paired with a six-speed manual gearbox or a preselective "robot" with two clutches. Also, the list of engines will include a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 150 horsepower and a pair of diesel units with a displacement of 1.6 liters with outputs of 95 and 115 horsepower.
