The Kia K3 GT is equipped with the same engine used in the new Ceed GT — a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 204 horsepower and 265 Nm of torque. The unit can work both with a six-speed manual gearbox and with a seven-speed DCT robot with two clutches.

Unlike the standard model, which uses a torsion beam in the rear suspension, the GT version features a multi-link suspension. In addition, the sedan received upgraded steering with sporty settings, as well as brake mechanisms with larger front discs.
As for the exterior, the Kia K3 GT can be distinguished from the regular sedan by more aggressive bumpers, a black splitter at the front, a rear diffuser with red inserts, as well as a spoiler on the trunk lid and 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels.
