Audi plans to revive the Horch name. Under this brand, the Germans used to produce premium-class cars.
The name Horch is to be revived for a luxury sedan that will be created on the platform of the A8 model. However, Audi does not plan to make Horch a separate brand.
The debut of the new model is expected in two to three years. The car's main rival will be the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. It is assumed that the Audi A8 Horch will receive a six-liter gasoline W12 engine, the same one that is currently installed on the Bentley Continental GT. In addition, a biturbo V8 may appear in the engine lineup.
