The new GLE is built on the MHA (Modular High Architecture) platform. The new E-Class uses the same chassis. The new platform was designed by engineers from Stuttgart specifically for models with high ground clearance. The same chassis will be used by the GLE Coupe, as well as the successors of the GLC and GLS.
