Test drives of the new model took place on one of the German high-speed highways. The video of the tests was published by Drive.gr.

In the footage, the car is still completely covered with camouflage film. Nevertheless, it is already clear that the appearance of the model will repeat the concept of the same name shown in autumn 2017 in Frankfurt. Compared to the regular Ceed, this version will get different bumpers, other wheel rims, a sport exhaust system, a spoiler, and modified optics.

It is expected that under the hood there will be a 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbo engine with about 200 horsepower. It will be paired with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches.

The presentation of the model for a limited circle of people is scheduled for September 13, and the full debut will take place in October at the Paris Motor Show.
