According to available information, the new crossover hatchback will receive increased ground clearance, different suspension tuning, and additional underbody protection compared to the regular version of the model.
The engine lineup will include four-cylinder gasoline engines with a displacement of 1.8 and 2.0 liters, which will be paired with either a six-speed manual or a CVT. The main rivals of the Toyota Corolla Cross will be the Ford Focus Active, Subaru Crosstrek, Volkswagen Golf Alltrack, and Chevrolet Spark Active.
