Photo spies managed to capture the car during testing near the Nürburgring. The images, in which the new product is hidden in minimal camouflage, were published by Motor1.
Judging by the spy photos, the "hot" Focus will feature a more aggressive design. The hatchback will get new bumpers, different air intakes, a diffuser, and a spoiler. According to unofficial data, the car will receive an upgraded braking system and a front-wheel drive system.

Most likely, the Focus ST will get a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. The power of the unit will be 252 hp. The unit will work in conjunction with an automatic transmission.
The car will be offered with an independent rear suspension. The list of electronic "assistants" will include adaptive cruise control with the ability to come to a complete stop and automatic start, lane keeping assist and traffic sign recognition, as well as upgraded adaptive headlights.
The premiere of the new product will take place before the end of this year. Prices for the model will be announced later.
