The AMR modification replaced the regular version of the DB11 with a twelve-cylinder engine, which has been discontinued. However, the V8 variant is still available to customers.
The Aston Martin DB11 AMR features darkened optics and exhaust tips, while the roof, splitter, and side skirts are finished in black. The model also received exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the driver is greeted by leather seats with suede inserts and AMR embroidery on the headrests.
The power of the boosted 5.2-liter V12 turbo engine was increased from 608 to 639 hp, while torque remained at the same level – 700 Nm. The 8-speed automatic transmission was also recalibrated. As a result, the top speed increased to 334 km/h (an increase of 12 km/h), and the sprint to 100 km/h was reduced to 3.7 seconds (0.2 seconds faster).
Sales of the Aston Martin DB11 AMR will begin in the summer. The price in the UK market starts from £174,995.
