Despite forecasts, the powertrain of the Cayenne E-Hybrid differs from the version installed on the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid. Instead of the 330-hp V6 2.9, the crossover received a three-liter engine producing 340 hp, but the total power with the electric motor is 462 hp, similar to the hybrid Panamera.
Acceleration to 100 km/h takes the "green" Cayenne exactly 5 seconds (0.9 s faster than its predecessor). The top speed is 253 km/h (+10 km/h). The claimed average fuel consumption is 3.2-3.4 l/100 km. On electric power alone, the crossover can travel 44 km at speeds up to 135 km/h.
