The concept is a more sporty version of the seven-seat Atlas crossover, distinguished by its more compact dimensions and slightly coupe-like body. The Atlas Cross Sport is 191 mm shorter and 50 mm wider than the "regular" Atlas, but the wheelbase of the models is the same.

The interior also looks quite production-ready, but, of course, it differs significantly from the cabin of the seven-seat modification, primarily in the abundance of touchscreens.

The Atlas Cross Sport is powered by a hybrid powertrain that combines a six-cylinder 3.6 FSI engine and two electric motors. The total power of such a system is 360 hp. The crossover can cover 42 km without the help of the gasoline engine.

The sporty Atlas will be produced together with the seven-seat version at the American plant in Chattanooga. The production model should reach showrooms next year.
