After the facelift, the four-door Yaris, which is a rebadged version of the Mazda 2, lost the iA suffix but remained virtually unchanged in appearance. All design changes were reduced to a different radiator grille design.
There are also no significant innovations in the interior. Even in the base version, the sedan is equipped with a multimedia system with a 7-inch screen, a rear-view camera, and an automatic braking function.
The model received no technical upgrades. Under the hood of the updated Yaris, there is still the only available 1.5-liter engine producing 107 hp and 140 Nm.
