On the domestic market, the restyled Optima debuted back in January, so the changes in the model's appearance were no longer a secret. But now you can see not only the sedan, but also the station wagon.
The main differences of the European Optima are hidden under the hood. The engine lineup has been expanded with a new turbocharged gasoline unit 1.6 T-GDi, developing 180 hp and working in tandem with a 7-speed robot with two clutches. Also added is a new 136-horsepower diesel U3 1.6 CRDi, delivering 320 Nm of torque.
The debut of the European version of the updated Kia Optima will take place at the Geneva Motor Show. Sales of the model will start closer to autumn.
