The revived model is not a replica and is created entirely in accordance with the 1955 specification. Assembly is done by hand according to the original drawings.

The Jaguar D-Type was produced from 1955 to 1956 and during this period sold 75 units, although it was originally planned to produce exactly a hundred such sports cars.
It is not surprising that the production run of the revived D-Type was decided to be limited to exactly 25 cars, so that after 62 years the previous plan would still be fulfilled. The manufacturer has not yet disclosed prices for the exclusive model.
