The Mercedes-AMG CLS 53 4Matic+, Mercedes-AMG E 53 4Matic+ Coupe and E 53 4Matic+ Cabriolet can be recognized by the twin chrome strips that split the radiator grille in half, as well as the striking A-wing decor in the bumpers.

In the cabin, the driver should appreciate the signature AMG Performance steering wheel and a variety of color combinations in the upholstery.

Under the hood of the 53-series models is a three-liter turbo engine producing 435 hp and 520 Nm, complemented by an EQ Boost starter-generator that adds an additional 22 hp when needed. All AMG 53 versions are equipped with a 9-speed automatic transmission AMG Speedshift TCT and all-wheel drive.

The sedan and cabriolet need 4.5 seconds to reach 100 km/h, while the coupe handles this task 0.1 seconds faster. With the AMG Driver’s package, the standard top speed limiter (250 km/h) can be raised to 270 km/h.

Sales of the new AMG modifications will start closer to summer. Prices for the models have not yet been announced.
