The legendary Gelendewagen still did not get a new generation, as previously expected, but simply underwent another facelift. At the same time, the exterior of the model has practically not changed, except for a slightly different design of LED optics, radiator grille and front bumper.

There are much more changes in the cabin. The interior features new seats and steering wheel, a fully digital instrument panel combined with the media center screen, as well as a significantly redesigned center console. In addition, there is noticeably more space for rear passengers.

Initially, only one modification of the model is presented – G500, which offers a four-liter turbocharged V8 engine producing 422 hp and 610 Nm. The transmission is a 9-speed automatic.

Production of the G-Class SUV is still established at the Austrian plant in Graz. The price of the model on the domestic market starts from 107 thousand euros.
