The concept status of the new Insight is conditional, as the model looks completely production-ready. In its third generation, the hybrid will for the first time adopt a sedan body and will receive a rather strict design, uncharacteristic of its predecessors.
The interior of the Insight almost entirely replicates the cabin of the Accord sedan, from which it also borrows the hybrid powertrain with a two-liter gasoline engine and a pair of electric motors.
The production version of the Honda Insight hybrid sedan is expected to debut next summer.
