The Hennessey Venom F5 is developed almost entirely from scratch, that is, without using the platform from any other car. The designers managed to create an impressive body with an excellent drag coefficient of 0.33. At the same time, the model turned out to be quite light and weighs only 1338 kg

The F5 index in the name is not chosen by chance and is borrowed from the tornado intensity scale, where it denotes wind gusts over 400 km/h.
The rear-wheel-drive Venom F5 is powered by a 7.4-liter turbocharged V8 engine, which works in conjunction with a 7-speed robotic gearbox. A manual transmission is available as an option.

The maximum speed declared by the creators is 435 km/h, but theoretically the Venom F5 is capable of accelerating to an incredible 484 km/h! The model will take less than ten seconds to reach 300 km/h.
The "hypercar" exercise of accelerating to 400 km/h and then coming to a complete stop should be conquered by the Venom in less than 30 seconds, while the current record result of the Koenigsegg Agera RS is "only" 36.4 seconds.
Hennessey plans to produce only 24 units of the model. The price of the Venom F5 starts at $1.6 million, and with all options the price will reach $2.2 million.
