In addition to the incredibly elegant Vision Coupe concept, Mazda brought to the Japanese capital a harbinger of the new "three" – the Kai show car.
The concept is made in a rather aggressive design and flaunts 20-inch wheel rims and Brembo brakes, which are unlikely to make it to the production Mazda 3.
The interior impresses with a media center screen stretched across the entire length of the front console, as well as stylish cockpit design, including the instrument panel.
The Japanese did not disclose information about the concept's powertrain.
The new generation Mazda 3 will be built on a seriously modernized platform and equipped with new engines. The model's debut is scheduled for 2019.
