The head of Škoda's research division, Christian Strube, told British journalists about the possible appearance of a "charged" modification of the Karoq.
As the top manager noted, the "hot" Karoq RS could get a hybrid powertrain and become the first "green" model of the Czech brand.
Strube believes that the RS version will organically complement the model range of the compact Karoq and will look more appropriate than a similar modification of the larger and heavier Kodiaq. The decision on the Kodiaq RS has already been made by management, but the fate of the Karoq RS remains open for now.
