The new MG6 looks much more expressive than its predecessor and surpasses it in length by 44 mm (4695 mm). The front design is quite reminiscent of Jaguar models, although overall the style is quite original.
The interior has also been significantly transformed and now features higher-quality trim materials, as well as an advanced Zebra Zhixing 2.0 multimedia system.
The MG6 sedan currently has only one engine – a 1.5-liter turbocharged unit producing 170 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
Production of the new MG6 will be exclusively at the Chinese plant, as they decided to abandon British manufacturing.
