Like its predecessor, the entire off-road arsenal of the "raised Insignia" consists of a ground clearance increased by 20 mm, an all-wheel drive system, and plastic body cladding around the perimeter of the body.

Under the hood of the Country Tourer version, a two-liter diesel engine with twin turbocharging debuts, producing 210 hp and 480 Nm. The manufacturer promises that the average fuel consumption will not exceed 7 liters, and acceleration to 100 km/h will take no more than 8 seconds.

The new engine will be available for the entire Insignia family and will become the fifth diesel unit in the model's lineup.
