The two-door versions of the S-Class have been slightly modernized following the flagship sedan, which was updated back in spring.

As with the four-door version, the exterior changes can only be noticed by the different design of the radiator grille, transformed bumpers, and updated optics.
In the interior, one can note a new steering wheel, as well as the instrument panel and multimedia system screens combined under a common glass.

The most significant changes were received by the "charged" modification AMG S 63, under the hood of which a new four-liter turbo engine appeared, producing 612 hp and 900 Nm. Paired with the nine-speed "robot" AMG Speedshift MCT, the engine accelerates the "two-doors" to the first hundred in just 3.5 seconds.

Also, a new 469-horsepower V8 4.0 appeared in the engine lineup, which is equipped with the S 560 versions.
The pricing policy for the refreshed coupe and convertible Mercedes-Benz S-Class will be announced after the official premiere in Frankfurt.
