The Honda Civic engine lineup of the new generation will be supplemented with a diesel power unit.
In the spring of next year, European buyers will be able to order the new Civic with a 1.6-liter diesel engine. The i-DTEC motor develops 120 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. The manufacturer claims an average fuel consumption of 3.7 liters per hundred kilometers.
