According to insider information, BMW will officially unveil the new generation of the M5 sports sedan at the end of August, without waiting for the Frankfurt Motor Show.
According to preliminary data, the new M5 will feature an M xDrive all-wheel drive system with the ability to switch to fully rear-wheel drive mode, and an active rear differential.
Under the hood of the "M" will be a modernized bi-turbo V8 engine, which will produce at least 600 hp, providing a 3.5-second acceleration to 100 km/h.
The new BMW M5 is expected to arrive at dealerships next spring.
