According to preliminary data, the new M5 will feature an M xDrive all-wheel drive system with the ability to switch to fully rear-wheel drive mode, and an active rear differential.

Under the hood of the "M" will be a modernized bi-turbo V8 engine, which will produce at least 600 hp, providing a 3.5-second acceleration to 100 km/h.

The new BMW M5 is expected to arrive at dealerships next spring.
