Externally, the N modification can be distinguished by aerodynamic elements with red trim, enlarged air intakes, a rear spoiler, and dual exhaust tips.

The interior greets the driver with sport seats, a modified instrument panel, and a new steering wheel.

Under the hood of the i30 N sits a two-liter turbo engine T-GDI producing 250 hp in the standard version and 275 “horses” with the Performance package. As for the transmission, there is no alternative to a six-speed manual.

The hot hatch accelerates to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds, and with the additional package in 6.1 seconds. The top speed is 250 km/h.

The i30 N is equipped with an electronic engine sound generator and also offers a choice of one of five driving modes: Eco, Normal, Sport, N, and N Custom.
Sales of the “hot” Hyundai i30 N will start closer to the end of the year. Prices have not been disclosed yet.
