The manufacturer, in addition to announcing the premiere date, also released a promotional video revealing some of the exterior details of the upcoming model.
The basis for the Mercedes-Benz X-Class will be the Nissan Navara pickup, which is also used for the Renault Alaskan model. However, unlike its "siblings", the X-Class will be offered exclusively in a four-door body.
The pickup's assembly will be organized at Nissan's Spanish facilities in Barcelona, as well as at the Renault plant located in Argentina.
