Externally, the restyled S-Class can be distinguished by different headlights, a revised radiator grille, slightly modified bumpers, and new wheel options.

Inside, a new three-spoke steering wheel with mini touchpads appeared, and the digital instrument cluster was combined with the multimedia system screen under a single glass cover.
The options list added an advanced highway autopilot, which, among other things, can independently change lanes and avoid potential collisions.

A new S 560 version appeared in the modification lineup, equipped with a four-liter V8 turbo engine producing 469 hp (700 Nm). The same engine, but boosted to 612 hp (900 Nm), went to the "charged" AMG 63 variant, which, in addition to the new powertrain, also received a 9-speed Speedshift MCT automatic transmission instead of the previous 7-speed.

The S-Class also received a new three-liter diesel engine with 286 hp (600 Nm) for the S 350 d 4Matic version and 340 hp (700 Nm) for the S 400 d 4Matic.

Sales of the updated Mercedes-Benz S-Class will start in the summer. Prices have not been announced yet.
