The traditional "hot" Si version of the Civic for the American market will be available for both the sedan and the coupe.
Compared to the standard modification, the Civic Si differs with aerodynamic elements, a modified radiator grille, an original exhaust system pipe, and 18-inch wheels.
The interior boasts sport seats with red stitching and aluminum pedal covers.
Under the hood of the Si version sits a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 208 hp (260 Nm), paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Dynamic characteristics have not yet been announced.
For better handling, the Civic Si received an improved braking system, a stiffer suspension, and a limited-slip differential.
Sales start in May, but prices will only be known after the official premiere.
