Seat company president Luca de Meo during the annual press conference confirmed the information about the appearance in the brand's lineup of the first seven-seat crossover.
The new model will be built on the MQB platform, and in terms of dimensions it will be close to the Czech crossover Skoda Kodiaq. The name of the future model has not yet been disclosed, nor have technical details.
The debut of the new "Seat" is expected next year. Production of the crossover will be set up at the Volkswagen plant in Wolfsburg.
