The Citroen E-Berlingo Multispace is equipped with two lithium-ion battery packs with a capacity of 22.5 kWh each, which are located on both sides of the rear axle. At the same time, it was possible to keep a flat floor and a spacious trunk – from 675 to 3000 liters (with the second row of seats removed).

The batteries power a 67-horsepower electric motor that delivers 200 Nm of torque. The electric vehicle's range is a modest 170 km.
A full charge from a home outlet will take from 8 to 15 hours – depending on the current strength. In addition, the E-Berlingo Multispace can be recharged using a special device for quickly replenishing the battery reserve – to 50% in 15 minutes or to 80% in 30 minutes.

The warranty on the traction battery is 8 years or 100,000 km of mileage, and on the electric motor – 5 years or 50,000 km of mileage.
Production of the electric vehicle will be established at a plant in the Spanish city of Vigo. Sales in Spain will start in early May, and in early September 2017 – in other European countries.
