The track version is based on the most "charged" ZL1 version. The 1LE version features a more aggressive aerodynamic body kit, a huge carbon wing, retuned racing suspension, and lightweight wheels. These changes made it possible to shed 27 extra kg.
The 659-horsepower V8 engine was left unchanged. Only a uncompromising 6-speed manual transmission is offered.
The acceleration dynamics were not disclosed by the engineers, but on the GM test track of 4.7 km, the Camaro ZL1 1LE "brought" its "donor" 3 seconds per lap.
The price of the track modification of the Camaro is not yet known.
