Despite the abundant camouflage, there is a clear resemblance to the QX50 concept presented in early January at the Detroit Auto Show.

The production QX50, in addition to its appearance, will borrow from the show car a new two-liter turbo engine with about 270 hp and an innovative system capable of varying the compression ratio from 8:1 to 14:1.

In addition, the crossover may get an optional ProPILOT autonomous driving system, with which the car will be able to independently accelerate, brake, and stay in its lane on the road.
